Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems at customer sites. You will forecast issues, gather materials, and coordinate on-site work with team leaders and customers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices. This role is on-site with field-based travel and safety-focused responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC.
• EPA Certification.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements.
• Serve as direct customer contact for assigned projects; diagnose and repair equipment on-site.
• Use blueprints/engineering specifications and hand tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.
• Maintain safety standards and secure company assets on-site.
