Job summary

Contract Hardware & Supply Co. Inc. in Maryland is seeking a Commercial Doors & Hardware Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end openings projects from award to closeout.

This on‑site role collaborates with general contractors, architects, and field teams to deliver on time, within scope, and on budget. The successful candidate will have an associate degree, 3+ years in Division 8/10 hardware projects, strong software skills (Comsense preferred), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and industry experience preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware (Division 8 / Division 10).
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Professional, and ERP/detailing software (Comsense preferred).
• Strong organizational skills, process-oriented mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to build effective relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project execution for commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Review architectural plans, door schedules, and hardware sets to verify technical feasibility, scope coverage, and code compliance (ANSI/BHMA, NFPA 80, ADA).
• Prepare, review, and process detailed submittal packages utilizing Comsense.
• Coordinate material procurement and delivery logistics with major manufacturers (ASSA ABLOY, Allegion, dormakaba, Hager) to align with job site milestones.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification and Schedule of Values (SOV) tracking.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and key vendor partners.
• Coordinate and attend site meetings, performing routine reviews for quality, scope, and standards compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and successfully execute project close-out activities.
