Job summary

Contract Hardware & Supply Co. Inc. in Virginia is seeking a Commercial Doors & Hardware Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and closeout of customer-based openings at the Virginia branch.

You will coordinate with general contractors, architects, and field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The role requires 3+ years in project management for division 8/10 hardware, an Associate’s degree or equivalent, and proficiency with MS Office and Comsense.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware (Division 8 / Division 10).
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Professional, and industry ERP/detailing software (Comsense preferred).
• Strong organizational skills, process-oriented mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to build effective relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project execution for commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.
• Review architectural plans, door schedules, and hardware sets to verify feasibility, scope coverage, and code compliance (ANSI/BHMA, NFPA 80, ADA).
• Prepare, review, and process detailed submittal packages utilizing Comsense.
• Coordinate material procurement and delivery logistics with major manufacturers (ASSA ABLOY, Allegion, dormakaba, Hager) to align with job site milestones.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using verification and Schedule of Values (SOV).
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and key vendor partners.
• Coordinate and attend site meetings, performing routine reviews for quality, scope, and standards compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and successfully execute project close-out activities.
