Job summary

Contract Hardware & Supply Co. Inc. in Maryland seeks a Project Manager to oversee commercial doors, frames, and hardware projects from award to closeout. This on-site role collaborates with general contractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery.

You will review plans, manage procurement, track cost changes with SOV, and maintain thorough project documentation across Division 8/10 products. A strong eye for detail and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in the commercial door, frame, and architectural hardware industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Professional, and Comsense ERP/detailing software.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project execution for commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware.
• Review architectural plans, door schedules, and hardware sets for feasibility, scope, and code compliance.
• Prepare, review, and process detailed submittal packages using Comsense.
• Coordinate material procurement and delivery with major manufacturers (ASSA ABLOY, Allegion, dormakaba, Hager).
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs with Schedule of Values (SOV).
• Establish and maintain relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate and attend site meetings, reviewing quality, scope, and standards compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and execute close-out activities.
