Job summary

Clark Construction Company in Southeast Michigan is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial projects. You will collaborate with the Project Manager to lead on-site activities, coordinate trade contractors, and ensure safe, high-quality progress within schedule.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in commercial construction, strong knowledge of sequencing and jobsite coordination, and excellent communication skills to lead diverse teams and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and experience implementing procedures and workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations for commercial projects in Southeast Michigan.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and craft labor on site to meet plans and schedule.
• Lead day-to-day site activities and ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
• Develop field priorities, execution strategies, and look-ahead schedules.
• Maintain records, including daily reports and change notices, and manage cost implications.
• Represent the project in meetings with owners and stakeholders.
