Job summary

Greenwald & B.C. Inc. in Mount Pleasant, MI, is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead commercial projects from preconstruction to closeout on-site.

You will coordinate field and office teams, manage schedules and budgets, and communicate with clients and leadership. The role requires 3-5 years of PM experience in commercial construction, strong scheduling and cost control skills, and the ability to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
• Financial awareness including job costing and cost control.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with office and field teams.
• Proficiency with construction project management software.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects through planning, execution, and final closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and cost forecasts.
• Monitor job costs, subcontractor commitments, labor expenses, and projected costs to complete.
• Coordinate subcontractors, project engineers, superintendents, suppliers, and other project partners.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
• Evaluate change orders, including pricing, documentation, and coordination with the field team.
• Communicate with clients regarding project progress, schedules, costs, and proposed changes.
• Identify potential project risks, delays, and budget concerns, and take action to address them.
• Maintain clear project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, procurement updates, and meeting records.
• Coordinate with accounting on progress billings, pay applications, and project financial reconciliation.
• Support quality control, jobsite safety, and timely project closeout.
