Job summary

Aerospace Fasteners in Brea, CA is seeking experienced Cold Header Setup Operators to join its fastener manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role requiring independent setup of cold heading and nut forming equipment, tooling adjustments, and on-time quality inspection.

You will work on multi-station equipment in a high-volume environment, troubleshoot issues, read blueprints, and document production steps.

Qualifications

• Previous cold heading/cold forming/nut forming experience.
• Experience performing complete machine setups independently.
• Experience setting dies, punches, and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete machine setups on cold heading/nut forming equipment.
• Set and adjust dies, punches, transfer fingers, and related tooling.
• Operate and monitor multi-station forming equipment.
• Make machine and tooling adjustments throughout production.
• Troubleshoot forming, tooling, and production issues.
• Read blueprints, drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and maintain tolerances.
• Document production logs and maintenance needs.
• Follow plant safety and operating procedures.
