Aerospace Company is seeking a Heading Machinist for 2nd shift in Brea, CA. This on-site role requires setting up, troubleshooting, and operating cold heading machines to produce high-quality parts while following blueprints and production instructions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of cold heading experience, can read blueprints, and is proficient with inspection tools. Lifts up to 50 lbs in a non-climate-controlled environment; on-site with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cold heading or related machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using precision inspection equipment.
• Experience with National, Okuma, or Waterbury machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate cold heading machines.
• Produce quality parts using blueprints, process documents, and work instructions.
• Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Gather production materials, drawings, schedules, and tooling requirements.
• Enter setup and production data into the K-Lite tracking system.
• Identify and report machine issues, material defects, and drawing discrepancies.
• Perform machine maintenance and tooling replacements as needed.
• Support and train new team members when required.
