Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related degree, OR related practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in actively developing large scale software using: Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services supporting high volume transactions in a highly available environment.
• 6+ years of experience working with containers and microservices in the cloud.
• 6+ years of experience in cloud deployment in a CI/CD model.
• 2+ years of experience with PCF, GCP, or AWS.
• 2+ years’ experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Aerospike, SQL Server.
• Experience in IT Transformations and system modernization from legacy to distributed platforms (Mainframe Cobol -> Java/SQL).
• Track record of delivering high quality on tight schedules.
• Collaborative mindset with Product Management, Architects, SRE, and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on cross-team Java engineering efforts.
• Influence decision making and alignment while guiding testing strategies.
• Participate in product design and development discussions to understand business needs.
• Design effective, scalable solutions aligned with the organization’s vision.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineers across teams.
• Support critical production issues and ensure reliable delivery.
