Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Clinical Services Manager to lead behavioral support across adult day programs in Long Beach, Signal Hill, and Norwalk. This on-site clinical leadership role combines direct services with staff coaching and program oversight.

The role emphasizes hands-on clinical work in real-world settings, overseeing assessments, behavior support plans, data review, and staff training to improve independence and quality of life for adults with IDD.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA in good standing with the BACB
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related clinical field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and implementing behavior intervention services
• Current LMFT or LCSW with ABA coursework
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Ability to travel locally between program locations
• Ability to translate clinical recommendations into practical staff actions
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Lead behavior support services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior support plans
• Observe individuals and staff directly within the program environment
• Train and coach staff on behavior strategies, prevention, de-escalation, and data collection
• Review behavioral data and adjust interventions based on progress and identified trends
• Provide clinical guidance during complex or escalated behavioral situations
• Supervise, support, and develop behavioral staff
• Collaborate with Program Directors, families, caregivers, Regional Center representatives, and interdisciplinary team members
• Help ensure behavior plans are person-centered, practical, least restrictive, and consistently implemented
• Support the continued development of behavioral services across Dungarvin’s Southern California programs
• Ensure services are aligned with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards
