Job summary

ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning of Jackson is seeking a hands-on Working On Site Supervisor to join our team in Richland, MS. You will supervise the cleaning crew, perform on-site cleaning tasks, and ensure quality control before leaving the site.

You should have prior commercial cleaning or janitorial experience, supervisory skills, and a strong eye for detail. Evening or overnight shifts may be required, with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or a related field required.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality, consistent results.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evening or overnight shifts as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the duration of a shift.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and interact with clients.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and work alongside cleaning crew members during scheduled shifts at commercial client sites
• Perform hands-on commercial cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restroom sanitation, and trash removal
• Ensure quality control standards are met on every job by inspecting completed work before leaving the site
• Train and guide team members on proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety protocols
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding any site‑specific needs, concerns, or special requests
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, reporting shortages or maintenance needs as needed
• Ensure team compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA standards
