Job summary

Ramos Consulting Services, now part of Colliers Engineering & Design, seeks a Construction Engineer to oversee field engineering and inspection as Owner's Representative on a light rail extension program. You will manage civil scope, coordinate testing, and ensure compliance with design criteria and safety requirements.

The role is on-site in Seattle during construction with a focus on trackwork, drainage, utility relocations, and related civil works, reporting to the Resident Engineer and

Qualifications

• Field inspection and quality control on civil construction projects.
• Ability to read plans, specs and design criteria.
• Coordination with contractors, consultants and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections for compliance with plans, specs and permits.
• Inspect earthwork, drainage, utilities, foundations and walls.
• Witness concrete placement, rebar, compaction and testing.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate testing, survey checks and daily reports.
• Prepare as-built records and assist in project closeout.
