Job summary

AECOM is seeking a CEI Construction Services Inspector to join the transportation team in Port St Lucie, FL. The role involves inspecting road and bridge construction, performing field tests, and ensuring contract compliance, with supervision from the Senior Inspector.

Preferred certifications such as Nuclear Radiation Safety, FDEP Stormwater Inspector, and CTQP inspections enhance advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 2 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Valid U.S Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work and conduct field tests for compliance with contract documents
• Assist Senior CEI Inspector and review work in progress
• Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specs and codes
• Conduct daily field inspections and maintain inspection records
• Participate in punch lists, testing and commissioning
• Track quality assurance progress
• Inspect roadway and bridge construction on site
• Monitor on-site construction activities
• Conduct inspections, observations and test materials and check construction work
• Communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
• Receive general supervision from Senior Inspector
