Job summary

AECOM is seeking a CEI Construction Services Inspector to join our transportation team in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area. The role involves inspecting roadway and bridge construction, performing field tests, and supporting the delivery of quality construction engineering and inspection services.

The Inspector will work under supervision, assist Senior Inspectors, track QA progress, and ensure conformance to contracts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Valid U.S Driver’s License required to visit project sites and offices; must pass Motor Vehicle Records review.
• US Citizenship required for this project.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work and conduct field tests for contract compliance.
• Assist Senior CEI Inspector and review work in progress.
• Monitor quality, performance, specifications, and code requirements; perform inspections.
• Maintain daily field inspection records and support punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
