Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have working proficiency in English and target language (ILR 2+).
• Experience interpreting in professional or social services settings.
• Background in government, healthcare, legal, or social services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, complete, and impartial in-person interpretation between client staff and LEP clients.
• Interpret in the first person, relaying content completely without editing or omitting.
• Serve as a communication liaison to ensure mutual understanding while maintaining neutrality and professionalism.
• Adhere to interpreter ethics, including confidentiality, accuracy, and impartiality.
