Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 1 year inpatient coding or CDI experience.
• Strong knowledge of MS-DRG and APR-DRG.
• Experience with ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines.
• Experience using encoder and EHR systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Improve documentation accuracy and completeness through provider queries.
• Assign MS-DRG/APR-DRG and assess SOI/ROM.
• Ensure CDI compliance with AHIMA/ACDIS guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to resolve gaps.
• Query providers to clarify missing or conflicting diagnoses.
