Job summary

e4health seeks a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Consultant to review patient records and ensure accurate documentation reflecting illness severity. You will collaborate with providers and coders to educate and improve data quality across healthcare engagements.

Requirements include 3+ years of clinical documentation experience and an active RN license. Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook is expected, along with U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of clinical documentation experience.
• Current RN license.
• Strong analytical skills to clinically evaluate the medical record.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and clients.
• Must have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records for complete and accurate documentation of diagnoses and procedures.
• Initiate and complete queries to reflect accurate inpatient or outpatient data.
• Adhere to guidelines by ACDIS, AAPC, and AHIMA.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information under HIPAA.
• Collaborate with clients and team to meet assignment needs.
