Job summary

Zerocater is seeking an On-Site Catering Attendant to be the face of our dining service at client sites in Torrance, CA. You will greet guests, assist with meal delivery intake, set up meals, ensure cleanliness and food safety, and build friendly relationships with client teams.

This part-time role pays $21.00 per hour, with a $15 monthly cell phone stipend and a 401(k) match with immediate vesting. Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate.

Qualifications

• Background in hospitality, food service, or similar customer-facing role.
• Team player who can help others to ensure smooth execution.
• Responsible and attentive with minimal supervision.
• Passion for food service and customer experience.
• Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one (cost covered by Zerocater).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Delivery Intake: ensure smooth transportation of vendor food from loading dock to client space and check for missing items.
• Oversee Meal Set-up/clean-up: guide food layout, set up equipment, manage presentation, replenish dishes, store leftovers.
• Maintain Cleanliness/food safety: keep serving areas clean and organized during service.
• Customer Experience: greet guests, address requests, ensure satisfaction, respond to concerns.
• Meal Feedback: inventory food before/after meals, gather preferences, communicate with employees on site, share feedback with HQ.
