Job summary

Zerocater is seeking an On-Site Catering Attendant to be the face of our service at client sites. You will greet guests, help with meal setup, maintain cleanliness, and assist with meal service to ensure a smooth, enjoyable dining experience.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 11:00am–3:30pm, typically 10–30 hours per week. Compensation includes $21.00 per hour, a $15 monthly cell-phone stipend, and a 401(k) match with immediate vesting. A Food Handler's Certificate is preferred or will be provided.

Qualifications

• Background in hospitality, food service (highly preferred), or a similar customer-facing role.
• Willing to work as a team and help others to ensure smooth execution.
• Responsible and attentive with ability to work with little supervision.
• Passion for food service and customer-first mentality.
• Must have a Food Handler's Certificate or be willing to obtain one (cost covered by Zerocater).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Delivery Intake: Help ensure smooth transportation of the food delivered by the vendor from the loading dock up to the client’s meal space.
• Oversee Meal Set-up/clean-up: Guide and help with food layout, set up equipment, manage presentation, replenish dishes, and store leftovers.
• Maintaining Cleanliness/food safety: Ensure serving areas remain clean and organized during service.
• Customer Experience: Greet guests, engage with clients, respond to requests, and address questions.
• Meal Feedback: Take inventory before/after meals, gather preferences, and share feedback with HQ.
