Job summary

SURGE Staffing in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Carrier Administration Representative to support freight claims, carrier administration, compliance and onboarding. This full-time, on-site role requires highly organized individuals who can manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work with carriers, customers and internal operations teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; an Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in claims, insurance, customer service, logistics, or related field is a plus.
• Strong organizational and clerical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Logistics process for vetting carriers.
• Support freight claims, carrier administration, compliance and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate records and create carrier profiles.
• Generate and review reports to ensure up-to-date carrier information.
• Provide customer service to carrier partners and internal teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
