Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's/EPC side. You will write the project quality plan, set the surveillance and audit program for contractors and suppliers, and report quality performance to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.

You will qualify vendors, review QC plans and inspector qualifications, and own nonconformance and corrective-action processes while guiding lessons-learned for future

Qualifications

• 6+ years of quality experience on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification; ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute and enforce.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
