Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own the quality on capital projects from the owner's/EPC side. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance and audit programs, and qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors.

You will report quality performance to the project manager and the owner's quality organization and lead nonconformance and corrective actions through turnover.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, or infrastructure.
• Able to write quality requirements contractors can execute.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
