Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. seeks a Food Service Operations Director for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. This seasonal contract runs May through September, with a 6-day, 70-hour workweek and full room and board.

You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, manage FOH and kitchen staff, budgeting, and allergen safety, while ensuring high-quality scratch cooking and strict sanitation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; allergens expertise required prior to start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs; on-site living requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff in a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary flow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution.
• Strict allergen safety protocols; maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and budgets; place orders and track daily reporting.
• Act as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and office.
