Job summary

PsyPhyCare is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor or CADC to deliver on-site prevention and counseling for a federally supported residential program in Yachats, Oregon. The role supports young adults, ages 16–24, in a structured, community-based setting.

The clinician will provide individual and group counseling, collaborate with residential staff, and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• Active and valid CADC certification in Oregon.
• Minimum of 1 year experience providing substance abuse or behavioral health services to adolescents or young adults.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site substance abuse prevention, education, and counseling services to enrolled students.
• Develop and facilitate alcohol, drug, and tobacco prevention programs.
• Engage with students in residential and common areas and collaborate with program staff.
• Support student development and healthy coping skills; assist with relapse prevention.
• Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed.
• Develop individualized case management plans to improve retention and wellness.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold HIPAA confidentiality.
