Job summary

Vallen USA is seeking an On-site Buyer to join our procurement team at a customer location. You will purchase products and materials while ensuring price, quality, delivery timing, and supply reliability align with our standards.

The role requires strong communication with vendors, internal teams, and customers, along with proficiency in ERP and MS Office. You will contribute to ongoing cost savings and adhere to LEAN practices in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of procurement experience preferred.
• CPM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure goods meeting price, quality, timing, and supply reliability standards.
• Review inventory forecasts and replenishment recommendations.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Coordinate vendor returns for aging or excess inventory.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain supplier relationships and document savings opportunities.
• Follow Vallen SOPs and LEAN practices.
