Job summary

Vallen is seeking an On-site Buyer to work at a customer location, purchasing goods and materials that meet price, quality, timing, and supply reliability standards.

You will review forecasts, place vendor orders, and maintain supplier relationships while upholding LEAN practices and company SOPs. The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and independent work at client sites.

Qualifications

• Procurement experience preferred (1+ years).
• CPM certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills."
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Procure products and materials to meet customer demand.
• Review forecasts and replenishment recommendations.
• Coordinate vendor orders, payments and returns.
• Maintain supplier relationships and KPI data.
• Follow LEAN practices and SOPs; ensure a clean, professional work site.
• Support timely delivery by reviewing orders and expediting as needed.
