Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Building Engineer I to maintain and operate HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems in an on-site office environment. You will perform routine maintenance, handle tenant requests, and assist with safety and compliance under senior engineers.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in the field or relevant licenses; CFC certification is preferred. The role requires physical work and on-call rotations, with a pay range of $38–$42 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Engineering or trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Developing familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; BAS operation experience.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Outlook and laptop/phone apps for work orders and training.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and elevate issues as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.
• Maintain records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks and contractor oversight.
• Follow safety protocols; use PPE; comply with OSHA/NFPA standards.
