Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Building Engineer I to maintain and operate building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical networks. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to tenant requests, and ensure safety standards are met under mentor guidance.

Qualifications include 2–3 years of related experience, local licensing requirements, and BAS familiarity. The role is 100% in-office/on-site with physical duties and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Engineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Developing familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; gaining experience with BAS operation and troubleshooting.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and laptop/phone applications for work order systems, email, and training platforms.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds; physical tasks required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and elevate issues as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Conduct property inspections to identify deficiencies; assist with preventive maintenance tasks and contractor oversight.
