Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Operating Engineer to support day-to-day operation, maintenance, and performance of building systems, including HVAC equipment, at our on-site location in Wellesley, MA. The role focuses on safe, reliable building performance and high-quality site service delivery.

Compensation ranges from $89,000 to $104,000 per year, with a 6:00–2:00 shift and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in building operations, facilities, maintenance, or HVAC environments.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning).
• Ability to maintain HVAC asset documentation and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot building systems and equipment, including HVAC systems.
• Support daily engineering operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable building performance.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs.
• Identify operational issues, respond promptly, and escalate as needed.
• Maintain logs, records, and maintenance documentation for building and HVAC equipment.
• Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and contractors to support uninterrupted operations.
• Look for ways to improve efficiency, service quality, and response times.
