Building Engineer – JLL What this job involves: As a Building Engineer at JLL, you will support the operation, maintenance, and overall functionality of building systems within the assigned property portfolio. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, responding to tenant service requests, supporting building operations, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with JLL standards. The Building Engineer plays a key role in maintaining a high-quality environment for clients and occupants while partnering closely with facility management, vendors, and operations teams to support efficient day-to-day building performance.
What your day-to-day will look like: Perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and scheduled repairs on building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment. Complete inspection checklists and communicate maintenance concerns, repair needs, and follow-up items to the Facility Manager. Respond to tenant service requests and provide professional, customer-focused support to tenants, vendors, and team members. Maintain the appearance and operational standards of the property in alignment with JLL expectations. Assist with general interior maintenance including lighting replacement, office furniture repairs, hanging fixtures, door repairs, and workspace moves. Partner with contracted vendors to monitor service quality and support the review of service specifications and scopes of work. Maintain safe work practices by following safety procedures, identifying hazards, completing hazard assessments, and maintaining clean work areas.

Work Shift: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Salary: $28 - $32 per hour
