JLL is seeking a Building Engineer to maintain and operate critical facility systems at client sites in Frisco, TX. The role emphasizes electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and central utility plant operations with a hands-on technical focus.

You will lead daily maintenance, perform troubleshooting, manage preventive tasks, and support event setups while adhering to safety standards. Full-time, on-site, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in facility operations or building maintenance.
• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification or able to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment at client sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems.
• Record readings and adjust equipment for optimal HVAC performance.
• Manage facility services, purchasing, and inventory control.
• Assist with event setup/teardown and coordinate with security.
• Follow safety protocols for hazardous materials.
