Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is offering an on‑site internship at one of our branch locations aimed at students pursuing business, operations, or leadership roles.

You will work closely with branch leadership, sales, and warehouse teams to gain hands‑on experience across the distribution center’s daily operations. During the internship, you will tackle a meaningful summer project, present findings to leadership, and have a pathway toward full‑time opportunities in our Management Trainee (MIT) Program

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Available to work full‑time for 10–12 weeks between May and August.
• Demonstrated involvement in work, student organizations, athletics, leadership, or other team‑based activities.
• Willingness to learn in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Learn the day‑to‑day operations of a multi‑million‑dollar distribution center.
• Gain exposure to receiving, warehouse operations, dispatch, delivery, customer service, order entry, and outside sales.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager and branch team to understand how the business operates.
• Shadow experienced sales professionals and learn how we build and maintain customer relationships.
• Take ownership of a strategic summer project and present your work to company leadership.
• Participate in a 3‑day visit to our corporate headquarters as part of the internship experience.
• Build practical skills in leadership, communication, problem‑solving, time management, and business operations.
• Participate in hands‑on branch activities, including occasional handling of building materials.
