Job summary

Log Still Distillery in New Haven, KY is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to own the daily accounts payable and accounts receivable function across our family of entities. This hands-on role focuses on clean, timely, and accurate transactional data feeding our general ledgers and trial balances, primarily using Dynamics 365 BC and QuickBooks Online.

You will work directly with the Director of Finance & Business Operations, ensuring accurate coding, timely payments, and precise month-end

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on bookkeeping, AP/AR, or general accounting experience
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping fundamentals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort learning new accounting software

Responsibilities

• Own daily accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and ensure data accuracy across ledgers
• Process vendor invoices, match with POs/receipts, and manage payments
• Support month-end close and provide related reporting and reconciliations
• Maintain organized financial records and assist the finance team with ad hoc tasks
