Job summary

Parvus Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a part-time Facilities & Operations Assistant to support daily lab and office functions at our South San Francisco site. You will handle purchasing, shipping/receiving, inventory, and vendor coordination to keep a clean, compliant, and efficient workplace.

You will work closely with the Operations Specialist in a fast-paced biotech environment, contributing to safety programs and office logistics while gaining industry experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in office/facilities including purchasing, shipping/receiving, and vendor management.
• Biotech EHS awareness a plus.
• Proficient with Excel databases and MS Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with短 notice changes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, organized laboratory and office environments.
• Manage laboratory inventory: consumables, PPE, gases, cryogenic liquids.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, including hazardous materials.
• Arrange equipment servicing, maintenance, calibration, and vendor visits.
• Respond to laboratory equipment alarms and participate in on-call rotation.
• Coordinate waste disposal, recycling, and safety documentation.
• Assist with employee onboarding, office moves, and events.
• Coordinate with vendors and building management for daily operations.
