Job summary

The Biorepository Technician role at Resonant involves executing daily lab tasks related to material management, documentation, and data processing onsite at our Leesburg, VA facility. You will ensure proper material creation, labeling and archival in the biorepository system, with strict adherence to SOPs and safety practices.

Working with the Senior Technician and cross-functional teams, you will assist with storage logistics, line clearances, and data digitization while maintaining regulatory

Qualifications

• High school graduate; Associate degree preferred.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with high accuracy.
• Learn and use Microsoft Office, database software, and biorepository systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Accession and archive materials in the biorepository system.
• Ensure accuracy of records, labeling and documentation.
• Sort, inventory and manage wet tissues, blocks, slides, and materials.
• Support freezer clearance and storage organization.
• Communicate status updates to appropriate teams.
• Perform end-of-day checks to prevent cross-contamination.
• Assist with material processing and data digitization per specs.
