Job summary

Precision Medicine Group, LLC. seeks a Biorepository Technician I to assist in shipment/receipt, retrieval and preservation of biological samples. You will monitor freezers, receive and inventory samples, and prepare shipments with careful documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s Degree with 0–2 years of experience.
• Requires strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Able to work in a team and adapt to changing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor freezers and temperatures; respond to alarms per SOPs.
• Receive samples, record metadata, store at correct temperatures.
• Inventory and verify samples; quarantine materials per QA.
• Retrieve and prepare frozen samples; aliquot using aseptic technique.
• Ship samples and complete associated paperwork; maintain QA records.
• Maintain up-to-date IATA shipping knowledge and certifications.
