Job summary

GE HealthCare in Dublin, GA is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician 1 to respond to service calls, evaluate and repair basic biomedical equipment, and perform planned maintenance on customer sites. This is an on-site, first-shift role located at the customer site with relocation assistance offered.

The role requires either an engineering degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical fields or a combination including military education or a high school diploma with relevant 2+ years

Qualifications

• Analytical and communication skills to explain technical issues to customers.
• Legal to work in the U.S. and able to pass background checks.
• Degree or equivalent military education accepted for qualification.
• Internship or externship programs with GEHC Biomed/FE Services are considered.
• High School Diploma with 2+ years service experience in electrical/electronics/IT/mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair basic biomedical equipment under supervision.
• Perform PM and safety/environmental inspections.
• Assist more experienced technicians on more complex repairs.
• Document repairs and maintain customer communications.
• Follow GE policies and hospital protocols; ensure proper reporting.
