Job summary

911inform is seeking a hands-on Billing Specialist to join on-site in Wall Township, NJ. You will manage invoicing for ~400 customers, build quotes, and set up billing schedules, while learning the business from an experienced teammate.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online is required, with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and clear communication with sales and operations. You will grow your scope over time and maintain entity separation for compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years billing experience with high-volume invoicing.
• Hands-on QuickBooks Desktop (Enterprise) and QuickBooks Online; experience with both is required.
• Excellent attention to detail to catch errors early.
• Strong Excel skills for sorting, checking, and reconciling data.
• Clear, direct communication with sales, PMs, and operations.
• On-site availability in Wall Township, New Jersey.
• Ability to manage multiple billing cycles and priorities.
• Maintain separation between 911inform and affiliated entity for compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue invoices for about 400 customers.
• Build quotes and estimates from information submitted by the sales team.
• Set up billing schedules for new customers and update renewals.
• Organize and file purchase orders, invoices, and backup.
• Track down missing information to prevent billing delays.
• Resolve billing questions and discrepancies and close items.
• Grow scope by taking on additional pieces of the billing cycle over time.
• Maintain strict separation between 911inform and its affiliated entity in all billing records.
