Job summary

Martin Concrete Construction is seeking a BI Developer / Analyst to transform data into actionable insights across projects, operations, and finance. You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop dashboards, reports, and BI tools that reveal performance and efficiency trends for smarter decisions.

You will design intuitive visualizations, validate data integrity, and drive standardized reporting practices while collaborating with data engineers and business stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, Excel)
• Knowledge of DAX and Power BI calculations
• SQL knowledge and ability to write queries
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience interpreting operational and financial data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to identify reporting requirements

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, Quality, Safety, Finance, and Leadership teams to understand reporting needs
• Develop, maintain dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and reports using BI tools
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Create intuitive dashboards to support strategic decision-making
• Assist with standardized reporting practices across the organization
• Work with Data Engineers to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Support automation of manual reporting processes
• Validate data and troubleshoot reporting issues
• Present findings to stakeholders clearly
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through analytics
• Support adoption of reporting tools and dashboards
• Develop documentation, KPI definitions, and report standards
• Recommend enhancements to BI capabilities
