Job summary

Lee Industrial Contracting in Pontiac, MI is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence professional to develop and manage Power BI reports and dashboards. You will gather requirements, build semantic models, and ensure data accuracy across sources to deliver actionable insights.

The role requires 5+ years in BI or Power BI, strong SQL/DAX skills, and the ability to translate business needs into reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Intelligence, Reporting Analyst, or Power BI experience.
• Strong Power BI Data Modeling, DAX, and SQL Skills.
• Experience creating dashboards and data visualizations.
• Understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Engineering concepts.
• Ability to translate business needs and questions into reporting solutions.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, NetSuite, Salesforce, UKG, or Procore is a plus.
• Construction, manufacturing, industrial services, engineering, or project-based industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• This is an on-site position in Pontiac, MI.
• Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards, monitoring scheduled refreshes and resolving data or performance issues as they arise.
• Gather and document reporting requirements from business stakeholders, translating them into clear specifications for new or updated reports.
• Build, test, and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and visualizations for accuracy, performance, and usability.
• Validate and reconcile data across source systems to ensure reports remain accurate, timely, and trustworthy.
• Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities, and communicate findings in a clear, actionable format.
• Respond to day-to-day ad hoc reporting requests and support end users with reporting questions, access issues, and troubleshooting.
