Job summary

VersaTech, Inc. is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician II for an on-site role in Silver Spring, MD.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of professional video and audio production experience, with post-production skills and a proven track record of leading projects from start to finish. The role involves operating and maintaining AV equipment, coordinating interviews and events, and delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional video and audio production experience.
• Proven ability to lead video projects from start to finish with a portfolio.
• Strong communication and customer service demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Specialized in Post-production (video editing, audio and color correction, on-screen graphics)
• Operates equipment and coordinates the integration of video production and graphic design technology.
• Coordinating, scheduling, and handling logistics for interviews, contributor meetings, and editorial reviews
• Serving as primary point person for video post-production guidelines and ensuring consistency of all video projects
• Perform installation, adjustment, and operation of AV equipment for client events
• Plan all aspects of video production through AV equipment
• Provide AV training to clients and other technicians
• Interface with clients and event coordinators on site regarding situations
• Provide outstanding customer service by building relationships with team members, clients, and vendors
• Use experience to plan and accomplish day-to-day goals
• Work under supervision and report to supervisor
• Maintain a professional attitude in fast-paced environments
