Job summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking an A/V Technician II to support AV/VTC projects in Lexington Park, MD. The role involves hands-on testing, assembly of A/V racks, and assisting with installation across secure spaces, with travel up to CONUS/OCONUS as needed.

Candidates should have 3–6 years of experience with A/V systems, be able to read diagrams, work in teams, and hold a valid driver's license and passport.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience performing testing and/or integration of electronics equipment.
• Direct experience with the testing, integration, and support of A/V systems and equipment.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Stage-2 testing of received A/V equipment and builds A/V racks per drawings.
• Labels communications infrastructure including cable, panels, patch cords and electronics.
• Assists with installation, mounting, cabling, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of A/V systems.
• Performs inventory management and records configuration information on installed equipment and software modules.
