Job summary

Conference Technologies is seeking an On-Site Audio Visual Design Engineer to support a client in Memphis, TN. The role centers on designing AV signal flows, creating detailed diagrams, and ensuring systems comply with Enterprise AV standards.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of AV design experience, Level 2 Q-SYS proficiency (LUA a plus), and strong networking knowledge. The position is full-time, on-site, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years designing AV signal flows and AV design diagrams.
• Q-SYS Level 2 proficiency required (some LUA).
• Proficiency in AV networking principles (VLANs, IP addressing, AV-over-IP).
• Associate degree preferred; experience and skill level matter most.

Responsibilities

• Design AV signal flows and create detailed AV design diagrams.
• Design AV rooms using existing architecture and electrical frameworks.
• Troubleshoot existing AV infrastructure and resolve complex issues.
• Develop and write Q-SYS design files at a Level 2 programming proficiency.
• Ensure designs align with Enterprise AV standards while providing innovative solutions.
• Stay current with emerging AV integration technologies.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to bring ideas to life.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system commissioning on AV systems.
