Job summary

CTI in Nashville, TN is seeking an Audio Visual Design Engineer to translate client concepts into build-ready AV designs. This onsite role collaborates with Sales, PMs, BIM/CAD, and field teams to keep designs coordinated through concept to execution.

You will design complete commercial AV systems for conference rooms, boardrooms, and enterprise spaces, create signal flow diagrams and system drawings using Visio or CAD, and ensure drawings meet CTI standards and project budgets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing commercial AV systems.
• Experience producing AV documentation and drawings (signal flow, system drawings).
• Ability to select equipment and develop solutions aligned to standards and budgets.
• Associate degree preferred (not required); aptitude matters.

Responsibilities

• Design complete commercial AV systems for conference rooms, boardrooms, training spaces, and enterprise setups.
• Create AV deliverables including signal flow diagrams, system drawings, using Visio and/or CAD.
• Review scope and clarify technical requirements with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Sales, PMs, BIM/CAD teams, architects and IT to keep plans buildable.
• Provide technical direction and QA on drawings to support field execution.
