Job summary

Power Design is seeking an Audio Visual Engineer to design, implement, and maintain AV systems across corporate spaces, conference rooms, and training facilities. You will collaborate with IT, Facilities, and end users to deliver reliable, high-quality AV experiences that align with Power Design’s operational goals.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of hands-on AV design and support, with Crestron/Extron and conferencing platforms; proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years designing, installing, and supporting AV systems.
• Proficient with Crestron/Extron and conferencing platforms (Zoom/Teams/WebEx).
• Knowledge of networked AV, signal flow, and HDBaseT/Dante.
• Experience with CAD or AV design tools preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and across departments.
• CTS/CTS-D certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer integrated audiovisual systems for corporate and training environments.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of AV hardware and devices.
• Create system schematics, wiring diagrams, and rack layouts.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and update AV software; train staff.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors to meet specs.
• Maintain asset inventory and perform preventative maintenance.
