Job summary

Bose Corporation in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, seeks a Software Customer Resident Engineer to serve as the primary local technical interface for GM Audio and Noise Management software integration across benches, development vehicles, launch and production environments.

You will coordinate with Bose and GM teams for integration, diagnose issues, reproduce scenarios, verify fixes, and manage configurations, releases, and BIN-file deliveries while keeping records and ensuring timely communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive embedded software or related fields.
• Experience with in-vehicle and bench integration, issue reproduction, and log/trace analysis.
• Knowledge of software and calibration flashing, configuration management, and release workflows.
• Strong customer-facing and cross-functional communication; willing to travel 10–15%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site technical liaison for GM integration and calibration.
• Perform first-level triage, reproduce issues, capture logs and traces.
• Coordinate root-cause analysis and verify fixes with Bose/GM teams.
• Support CPM and release teams with software, calibration, and BIN-file deliveries.
