Bose Corporation, a privately owned leader in sound innovation, seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager for its Automotive Engineering PMO in Michigan (Bloomfield Hills or Troy). You will drive crossfunctional programs spanning software, hardware, and systems engineering, guiding teams to meet technical, schedule, and budget commitments.

You will partner with engineering, purchasing, and finance to optimize programs, manage risk, and deliver on ambitious product development milestones.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex automotive engineering programs from ideation through development, ensuring alignment with product lifecycle phases and gate requirements.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans covering scope, schedule, deliverables, resources, budget, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
• Collaborate with Engineering to understand architecture, requirements, dependencies, validation strategies, and implementation risks.
• Drive execution across software, hardware, systems, validation, product, purchasing, finance, and other cross-functional teams.
• Establish clear ownership and accountability for project deliverables.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical and program-level issues affecting commitments.
• Establish governance, cadence, decision-making processes, and escalation mechanisms.
• Define and monitor meaningful KPIs and provide visibility into project health.
• Lead program reviews, milestone reviews, risk reviews, and executive discussions.
• Identify gaps and bottlenecks and implement actionable recovery plans.
• Promote consistent project management standards and best practices across programs.
• Champion continuous improvement to simplify processes, increase transparency, and improve execution efficiency.
• Manage project financial performance including budgets, forecasts, actuals, and external spend.
• Coordinate with Finance and Engineering to maintain accurate forecasts and financial visibility.
• Monitor resource demand vs availability and address capacity constraints.
• Support operating planning and quarterly reviews, and forecast activities.
• Ensure changes in scope are evaluated for downstream impact on cost, schedule, and technical outcomes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external partners for software and hardware development.
