Job summary

Reliance One is seeking an Automation Technician for a Greensboro, NC client, offering on-site work with a strong focus on PLC programming, robotics, and industrial maintenance. The role requires hands-on expertise across PLC platforms, servo systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematic interpretation.

The candidate should be comfortable with travel up to 30% and overtime as needed; prior experience with Mitsubishi PLCs and robotics is highly valued. An associate degree or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equipment installation and debugging experience.
• Experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on PLC programming experience with the ability to read, write, and modify logic.
• Mitsubishi PLC experience preferred; Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, and similar platforms will also be considered.
• Experience with servo motion controllers.
• Experience with relay logic, including wiring and troubleshooting.
• Robotics programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Hydraulic and/or pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Availability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdown periods as needed.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
