Job summary

Mytra in Brisbane, CA, is seeking an Associate Global Supply Manager, Electrical, to join the Supply Chain team. You will manage day-to-day execution for Electrical BOM items, track POs, and support supplier relationships while growing toward independent GSM responsibilities.

You will collaborate with engineering on new components, explore automation and AI to improve visibility, and participate in competitive sourcing and negotiations under mentorship.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in procurement, supply chain, or related role.
• Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage large volumes of components and supplier interactions.
• Strong supplier engagement skills and effective communication.
• Technical and commercial curiosity about pricing, cost drivers, and good deals.
• Ability to influence across internal teams and external suppliers.
• Excitement for automation and AI in operations.
• Self-directed and proactive with problem-flagging mindset.
• Eager to grow into an independent GSM role.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day supply chain execution across a defined portfolio of Electrical BOM items.
• Support the Senior GSM on high-value components, maintaining supply status visibility and flagging risks early.
• Build supplier relationships through routine check-ins, tracking delivery and quality performance.
• Maintain BOM and PO data in ERP/PLM systems ensuring data is current and actionable.
• Support RFQs, quotes comparison, and supplier negotiations under guidance.
• Identify and flag supply risks and help develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering on new components entering the BOM and supplier qualification.
• Explore automation/AI tools to improve visibility and reduce manual effort.
• Develop commercial instincts including should-cost modeling and supplier strategies.
