Job summary

NOVO Construction, Inc. is seeking an on-site Assistant Project Manager to coordinate schedules, ensure quality control, and facilitate stakeholder communication across Bay Area projects.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of building trades with emphasis on MEP systems and will work with the PM/PE to drive project success, safety, and delivery while based on-site with potential staff oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelora0Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of commercial construction experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• LEED AP preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of MS Project/Primavera and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Attend and conduct project job walks and prepare bids.
• Draft Owner/Client contracts and Subcontract agreements for review by PM or PX.
• Manage project budget, scope and change orders.
• Coordinate with owner, architect, subcontractors and vendors.
• Develop and manage RFI, submittal and change order logs.
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and project docs to the team.
